Chasing Daylight Updated, or using my skills for my own benefit.

Reading about the discipline of writing every day over at WebWorkerDaily and various folk's relative successes with creating that habit in their (professional and personal) lives has pushed me to do it, and hopefully reap some of the benefits.

I also decided, amongst the other subjects I'm reading on currently, to read The Blogger’s Guide to Effective Writing a relatively new e-book from Ali Hale. So hopefully the my posts will start showing a bit of improvement, and I'll have something new and interesting to talk about every week.

Hunkering down on my porch in Portland's recent heat/humidity onslaught, I drew up a new design, criticized myself for a few days, and finally started putting together a little Drupal site for myself. The previous (and neglected) version of the site ran on a (never updated) Wordpress install, and was never inspiring, to me or anybody else.
